Why a Mopar?

Originally wanted the Plum Crazy Charger but when I saw the Sub Lime, we could not wait for the Plum to be released. First Mopar for us. My brother owned a 69 Roadrunner many years ago; I was always a GM guy.

What’s the best thing about your car?

The color, either you love it or hate it but you notice it either way (and its got a Hemi!) and the great new friends we have made since joining the Ozark Mopar Club!

Is there a funny, sentimental story about your car?

A buddy of mine at work knew we were looking to trade cars and had driven a Charger at Fletcher on Saturday. He told me about a wild colored green car at the dealership in Jane MO. Connie called to find out about it and it had been sold but they could get us one if we were serious. I found out where the lady worked who had purchased it and drove up to Southwest City MO to see the car. It was a cloudy day and had rained earlier. I saw the car in less than great light and a little dirty from the wet roads. I called Connie and told her it was the car for us and to have the dealership contact Central Dodge in Springfield, MO and have them get us one of the 4 they had on the lot. It was a long two days waiting for the car and when it came in, they had paid an elderly couple to go get the car and the gentleman told Connie that it ran really smooth at 80 mph and was a chick magnet.
